Covid update

Hello Rackonteurs

(updated 3/1/21)

There are new guidelines as of 3/1/21 for reopening. This is good, encouraging news!

We’ll have this page updated by Friday 3/5 with updates to COVID Policies

Trading books in? You can drop off any time. One bag/box per day per person. Please put a piece of paper with your name and phone number in the bag. We’ll hold your books for a day and process them the next day.

Picking up an order? Come any time. If you paid online or over the phone, your order will be bagged with your name by the door. If you need to pay, you can come to the register.

Want to Browse? You can click the “Browse By Appointment” Tab to book now. We’re allowing limited access for walk in customers. Due to state regulations, we must limit the number of people in store at one time. Booking an appointment insures you a time to come in. Walk-ins may come in if we don’t have more than 2 groups(or 4 people) in the store at that time. For families, we strongly recommend booking an appointment because our kids area is so small.

We’ll continue to offer curbside pickup and delivery.

Your bag can be dropped off outside the store in the designated area. the bag must include a paper with your name, phone and email. Books will be brought inside and quarantined for 24 hours before we process them. Books we cannot accept will be donated.

You can also order new books for shipping from our online portal at www.bookshop.org/shop/bookrack Those orders come from a warehouse and will be shipped directly to your house. We receive a portion of the purchase price for those sales. This is a great option for sending gifts to friends and family.
